About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities, workshops, and groups for young people aged 11-25. You will work closely with schools, local organisations, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and deliver innovative programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of young people.
  • Case Management: Provide individualised support to young people, offering referrals and information to help them build positive lifestyles and relationships.
  • Funding and Reporting: Assist with preparing funding reports and social impact evaluations to demonstrate the effectiveness of our programs.
  • Youth Engagement: Foster meaningful relationships with young people, promoting their capacity building and cultural awareness.
  • Advocacy and Support: Offer advocacy, information, and referral services to young people, ensuring they receive necessary support and resources.
  • Workplace Culture: Model excellent work practices and values, contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.
Essential Requirements
  • Certificate IV: Hold a Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field.
  • Qualifications and Clearances: Possess current First Aid and CPR qualifications, National Police Clearance, and a Working with Children Check card.
  • Experience: Demonstrate significant experience in outreach, youth work, and individual support, with a proven track record in planning and implementing activities for young people.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationships with young people, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Professionalism and Integrity: Uphold a high standard of professionalism and integrity, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
