Job Description

A senior technical consultant is sought to contribute to the successful implementation of a leading financial software suite. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring clients receive top-notch support and guidance in utilizing the IMS system.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with technical support and product management to identify and resolve defects.
  • Manage multiple technical initiatives across various projects, prioritizing tasks and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop solutions with a focus on results-driven approach and timely project completion.
  • Support junior consultants by tracking project progress, allocating resources, and providing mentorship.
  • Work independently and as part of a dynamic Agile team, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in solution delivery and customer interaction, with a strong focus on problem-solving and communication.
  • Technical expertise includes XML/XSLT, ERDs, Tomcat configuration, N-tier application architecture, SOAP/XML messaging, and RDBMS (Oracle/MS SQL Server/Sybase).
  • Programming skills in Java and C#, as well as knowledge of Windows, Unix (Solaris/Linux), ETL tools, and SCM (Subversion/Perforce).
  • Strong oral and written language skills, with a preference for experience in the financial services industry and consulting background.
