Environmental Services Assistant

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Environmental Services Assistants on a casual basis.

About the Role

You will play a vital role in ensuring our hospital remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
  • Clean and maintain equipment used during your shift, restock, and store correctly.
  • Support a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • A strong focus on customer service and a friendly, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
