About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Development/Key Account Manager to drive growth by acquiring new business and nurturing existing partnerships. This pivotal role will be responsible for increasing order volume within a designated territory and delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing partners as their dedicated point of contact.
  • Identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop initiatives enhancing the partnership experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape through regular market analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand existing partner relationships.
  • Proactively address partner issues to maintain positive relationships and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Engage in strategic planning to improve client results and drive mutual success.
  • Travel for face-to-face appointments with clients and prospects.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in SaaS, liquor, or beverage industries with a short sales cycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial outcomes and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Proficiency in conducting market analysis and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
