About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Elizabeth Garden's Residential Aged Care Facility in Burwood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality lifestyle support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents.
  • Collaborate with care staff, therapy teams, and volunteers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Conduct lifestyle assessments and reviews, ensuring that care plans reflect residents' choices and preferences.
  • Engage with local community groups, schools, and businesses to enhance residents' lifestyle experiences.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet legislative requirements for ACFI submissions.
Requirements
  • At least one year's experience in a similar role within the Health Care or Aged Care environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle & Leisure).
  • First Aid Certificate Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Covid-19 vaccination and flu vaccination.
