About the Role
Clinical Midwifery EducatorFacilitate and effectively manage clinical education and competency programs for our Maternity Team.
This role encompasses planning, implementing, and evaluating practices, processes, and services related to the clinical education of our team within the unit.
You will work clinically alongside students, new staff, and those needing educational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective clinical education and training programs for midwives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new staff members.
- Evaluate and improve existing education and training practices.
Requirements
- A strong specialist clinical skillset in Midwifery and a strong capacity for training and education of clinical team members.
- Skilled Registered Midwifery with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience within a maternity environment.
