Job Description

We are currently searching for a skilled Senior Economist to join our team in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on national projects and contribute to the development of economic models. As a Senior Economist, you will be responsible for undertaking economic research, analytical tasks, and the development of economic appraisals, including cost-benefit analysis and economic modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake the development of economic appraisals, including cost-benefit analysis, economic modeling, and analysis
  • Contribute to the management of on-time and on-budget delivery of engagements
  • Opportunities to be involved in wider team engagements and learn new skills
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in economics
  • Experience in economic appraisal, modeling, and analysis, as well as business case development within the infrastructure sector
  • Demonstrated technical capabilities in economic appraisals, analysis, and/or business case preparation
  • Strong numeracy skills, with demonstrated experience in data and quantitative analysis and Excel modeling
  • Well-developed report writing skills
  • Strong collaboration and personal time management skills, and demonstrated ability to complete tasks within time and budget constraints
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated at $120,000-$160,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
