Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Launceston General Hospital. As a key member of our House Services Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain allocated areas, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas, in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the cleanliness and presentation of the hospital environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning service.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Current Driver's Licence
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
