Associate Research Fellow

The role of Associate Research Fellow is a challenging and dynamic position that will play a key part in the ongoing success of our research endeavors.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Associate Research Fellow. The successful candidate will be based at our Geelong, Waurn Ponds Campus and have hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality research and scholarship generating high impact outputs with mentorship.
  • Engage collaboratively in novel and high-quality research or creative activities.
  • Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary research collaborations.
  • Build awareness of relevant industry partners and opportunities for HDRs/ECRs placements.
  • Evaluate the impact of academic activity on the field and the community.

As an Associate Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to contribute to teaching, research, and administration. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in collaboration, leadership, and time management.

Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
  • Ability to contribute to communities through research.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
