The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at our client hospital is seeking an exceptional O&G Registrar to join their innovative team. This opportunity offers a fulfilling lifestyle, combining professional advancement, job satisfaction, and relaxation.
The Women's Health Unit comprises maternity and specialist services, averaging near 1500 births annually. The department provides holistic women-centred care, valuing patients' rights to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
Our client hospital has recently undergone a major overhaul, doubling its number of beds to over 300, making it one of Australia's largest regional healthcare facilities. This state-of-the-art modern facility is equipped with leading-edge technology, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for patients.
As an O&G Registrar, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist services to the local community, including obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency department, orthopaedics, anaesthetics, ICU, coronary care, psychiatry, aged care, renal medicine, ENT, ophthalmology, palliative care, and day surgery.
Clinics operated by the hospital include dermatology, oncology, orthopaedic, neurosurgical, neurology, liver, diabetic, urology, surgical, medical, renal, pacemaker, cardiac, haematology, ophthalmology, and wound management. The hospital is closely affiliated with the local and regional medical school, offering academic opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you must hold AHPRA registration or be eligible, Specialist qualifications overseas with RANZCOG assessment as Partially/Substantially Comparable, or relevant O&G experience as an International Medical Graduate.
A generous salary package is on offer, including up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
