We are seeking a skilled senior lawyer or associate to join our dynamic team of banking and finance professionals in Sydney.

The role offers the chance to work on complex matters spanning corporate, structured and asset-based financing transactions, as well as restructuring and special situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will represent various lenders and financiers including commercial and investment banks, credit funds and other institutional financial services entities.
  • You will play a lead role running transactions with significant client exposure.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers contributing to their development and shaping the practice's future.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years legal practice experience gained within a reputable banking and finance practice at a reputable commercial law firm.
  • Demonstrated experience with Corporate or Structured financing (lender side).
  • Some experience with or desire to learn front-end restructuring would be highly regarded.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to run matters with autonomy and efficiency.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor graduates and junior team members.
