About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team in delivering work orders across assets.

This role requires strong fault finding, condition assessment and renewal of instrumentation equipment skills.

The successful candidate will support our works within the Central Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver allocated E&I work orders from maintenance plans
  • Perform Electrical and Instrumentation tasks including fluid flow, pressure measurements and water quality monitoring equipment
  • Document work progression in computerized maintenance management systems
  • Travel to relevant assets across the network and attend Pre-start meetings
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures
  • Report on activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes
Requirements
  • Experience in either Infrastructure, Water or Oil and Gas industries
  • Hold a certificate IV or III in Instrumentation
  • Current C Class Driver Licence
  • Trade – Electrical certificate
  • QLD Electrical licence
  • EEHA - Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (5-year validity)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training (1 year validity)
  • Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Training (1 year validity)
  • Provide First Aid training (3-year validity)
  • Confined Space Entry training (3-year validity)
  • Working at Heights training (2-year validity)
  • Gas test Atmosphere training (3-year validity)

Candidates must be willing to undergo medical and police checks as part of the recruitment process. This role is targeted for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidate under Section 105 of the Discrimination Act 1991.
