Position Overview:

We're seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators to join our team in a fast-paced beverage can manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and significant operational experience in complex, high-pressure manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous production flow.
  • Perform mechanically complex component change-outs, fault-finding, and rectifications to maintain quality standards and optimise production efficiency.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure quality standards and optimise production efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-speed or continuous production settings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform complex mechanical tasks, including component change-outs and fault rectifications.
  • Technical trade qualifications will be viewed favourably, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
