Key Material Support Specialist Role

This position requires a highly skilled individual who will provide direct support to the Superintendent: Materials & Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and sustaining robust material master data structures, performing data cleansing, and capturing new master data field requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate material master data to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Cleanse and eliminate duplicates from existing master data to guarantee data integrity.
  • Evaluate and implement new master data field requirements to align with business standards.
  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Superintendent – Materials & Services.
  • Analyze and resolve SAP data quality issues, including root cause analysis and correction.
About You
  • You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • The ideal candidate would ideally possess proficiency in using Master Data Record Management (MDRM) tools, proven ability in verifying data, interpreting mining plant spare parts, prior experience in creating material master records, excellent written and verbal communication skills, relevant technical expertise in classification and coding of technical master data, demonstrated experience working with SAP, understanding of supply chain operations and material management frameworks, and intermediate Excel skills for data management and analysis.
