About the Role

As a Cafe All Rounder, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, managing stock levels, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, and handling cash and card transactions. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely and efficient manner while following all food safety guidelines.

  • Preparing and serving food and beverages: You will specialize in preparing coffees and other beverages alongside exceptional customer service.
  • Managing stock levels: You will be responsible for ordering and stocking supplies, as well as managing inventory to ensure optimal sales and minimize waste.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment: You will maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Handling cash and card transactions: You will process payments accurately and efficiently, handling customer complaints professionally.

Requirements:

  • Cafe experience: Ideally 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cafe operations and customer service principles.
  • Flexible availability: You must be available to work across a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Barista skills: Previous experience as a barista is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Food preparation knowledge: You should have basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
