About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled tradesperson to join our team as a full-time Carpenter. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on various construction projects throughout Western Australia.

Job Description

As a Carpenter with Fineform Concrete Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
  • Ordering and selecting correct materials for purpose.
  • Correct use of power tools and laser instruments.
  • Preparing ground slab edge board.
  • Erecting table formwork for suspended slabs (e.g., Doka, Peri, Ulma).
  • Erecting column and core formwork.
  • Erecting framework, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and verifying trueness of structures.
  • Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door/window frames.
  • Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation.
  • Cutting wood joints.
  • Repairing existing fittings.
  • Working with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals.
  • Completing works in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Correct use of PPE.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the trade.
  • Relevant industry certificate.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge is essential for this position.
  • WA Building and Construction Industry White/Blue Card.
  • Other relevant tickets and certificates.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Own tools and belt.
  • High-rise experience.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
