Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and contribute to the modernization of our cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer with 5+ years of experience in deploying, managing, or supporting Azure public cloud workloads at scale. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including on-premises, Azure services, and directory & identity services.

  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, and PowerShell.
  • Maintain high levels of availability, reliability, and performance across our cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and execute plans to optimize cloud costs while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in cloud computing, with expertise in Azure public cloud workloads, Terraform, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with contemporary development principles and tooling, including continuous delivery, automated testing, and version-controlled change.
  • Demonstrated skills in DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and software engineering principles such as source control, deployment pipelines, modularity, and abstraction.
  • Possess certifications in ITIL or Agile, and experience working in commercial environments.
  • Relevant recognized specialist industry certification, such as Azure Associate or Expert.
