Job Overview

The Principal Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business value and technical questions throughout the sales process.

 

This key position requires active engagement in presales work across Genesys Cloud Solutions, driving new business opportunities while articulating the benefits of our applications for various users, including agents, supervisors, and administrators.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead customers through Genesys solutions via demos, workshops, and presentations to outline how our applications deliver customer experience transformation.
  • Develop and present customized solutions that closely match the future state customer experience vision of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers to co-create solutions that bridge CX gaps, utilizing service design methodologies.
  • Bring a unique perspective in matching Genesys solutions to customer requirements, uncovering business challenges and articulating solutions through our consultative process.
  • Develop professional solution design diagrams with associated assumptions and sizing calculations.
  • Deliver custom demos tailored to prospects' needs and assist with trials and proof of concepts (POC).
  • Support partners with their sales pursuits and enablement activities.

 

About You

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, polished verbal and written communication.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
  • Technical knowledge covering associated Contact Center technologies, such as surveys, quality management, recording, workforce management, IVR, Digital Engagement or PCI-compliance.
  • Technical knowledge in some of the following areas, such as VOIP, SIP, RTP, Messaging, Carrier Services, Infrastructure, Networking or Security.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services) and Natural Language Understanding (Amazon Lex, Google Dialog Flow, Nuance).
  • Refined presentation skills showcasing presence and gravitas and able to facilitate workshops towards successful conclusions.
