About the Role

We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment, ensuring it is clean, functioning and secure from potential hazards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operations.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Take care of the restaurant's carpark, patio and exterior equipment, including bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
  • Back-of-House Maintenance: Organize and clean the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Complete any additional maintenance tasks as required by management.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Organization: Highly organized, with the ability to meet strict timelines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Presentation: Well-presented and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers, suppliers or contractors.
  • Availability: Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  • Task Completion: Able to independently complete tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows and toilets.
  • Customer Interaction: Confident in engaging with customers, suppliers or contractors, including handling difficult situations with individuals.
  • Sensory Awareness: Capable of hearing and responding to various alerts and alarms.
  • Resilience: Resilient and adaptable, bouncing back from challenges with a positive mindset.
