We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions and provide feedback to improve patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Care.
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector is desirable but not essential.
- Hold a full NSW Driver's License and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
- Availability to work shifts Monday to Friday with weekends on-call.
