Job Overview

Culture Kings is seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, QLDCulture Kings AU. This full-time, hybrid role will be responsible for supporting the production team in managing the production process of each garment or product, ensuring administration & reporting tasks are completed in a timely & accurate manner.

The Opportunity

This role will collaborate with Brand Managers, planning, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful production process. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach towards executing various administrative and reporting tasks with a strong emphasis on precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of production pipeline: Maintain the production pipeline for goods as driven by the category lead/buyers, engaging with other production team members as needed to develop supplier relationships and deliver on the production brief as required.
  • Production planning: developing production schedules, taking into account demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
  • Quality control: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all products meet established standards, including regularly conducting regular inspections and addressing quality-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to facilitate smooth production processes, address challenges and optimise efficiency.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee the entire production process including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packaging. Ensure that production flows smoothly and efficiently.
  • Material sourcing: Coordinate with suppliers to source and procure materials, fabrics, trims, and other components required for production.
  • Sample management: Manage the development and approval of production samples, making sure they match the designer's vision and meet the brand ID standard.
  • Process improvement: continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain a high level of product quality.
  • Reporting & documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activity and relevant data to support decision-making and compliance requirements
  • Teamwork: effectively contribute to the accomplishment of production team departmental objectives through a proactive and synergistic approach and seamless communication.
  • Projects & ad hoc tasks: support the production team with projects and ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficient in overseeing all stages of production from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control.
  • Experienced in implementing Techpacks, product specifications, and maintaining quality control measures and adherence to industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulousness in ensuring precision in production processes and maintaining a high-quality standard.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in production, garment tech, planning, or manufacturing is essential.
  • Experience working with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to seamlessly work with diverse teams, fostering cooperation and driving collective success.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
