World Class Civil Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on iconic projects, manage ongoing communication with local clients, ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements, determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works, ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and civil engineering work, manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team, mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers, partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

• Work on high-profile projects
• Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
• Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements
• Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works
• Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and civil engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets
• Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
• Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team
• Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers
• Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

• Bachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil Engineering)
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)
• Excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes
• Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment
• High level of expertise in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector
• Sound client facing and account/relationship management skills
• Excellent project management skills, including managing civil engineering teams
• Adept in cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines
• Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
