Registered Nurse - Aged Care Expert

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with E4 Healthcare, you'll be working casually across aged care facilities in the Murray River area. You'll play a vital role in the clinical care team, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring care staff on shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to aged care residents.
  • Perform assessments, manage care plans, and update documentation accordingly.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
  • Lead and support Personal Care Workers during your shift, fostering a positive team dynamic.
  • E nsure all care provided meets AHPRA and aged care compliance standards, promoting excellence in practice.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and allied health professionals, maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements:
  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in an aged care or clinical setting, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills, enabling effective decision-making and team management.
  • The ability to work autonomously, think critically, and adapt to new environments, showcasing flexibility and growth.
  • An up-to-date Police Check (within 12 months), ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Covid-19 and flu vaccinations (as per health directives), prioritizing resident and staff well-being.
