
Nurse Leadership Opportunity: Rehabilitation and Acute Stroke

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our rehabilitation and acute stroke ward team as a Nurse Unit Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective communication, consultation, and negotiation skills to ensure stakeholder involvement throughout the service. They will also demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory, participating directly or indirectly in delivering clinical care to individuals or groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing oneself effectively and collaborating with Clinical Nurse Educators and other Nurse Unit Managers/Clinical Nurse Consultants to develop staff and fulfill role responsibilities.
- Leading and coordinating quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective services.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Effective communication and consultation skills.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory.
- Ability to manage oneself effectively and collaborate with others.
