We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support and empowering people with disabilities to participate in inclusive and innovative programs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will be responsible for assisting participants in building independent living skills, social skills, and community access. Our seasonal programs include overnight camps and school holiday weekday programs. Your Mission

Your mission as a Disability Support Worker will be to ensure that every participant embarks on thrilling adventures, hones their skills, enjoys social interactions, and achieves personal milestones. Activities focus on building independent living skills, social skills, and community access. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in providing person-centered support to participants with varying disabilities
- Develop and implement activities that promote independent living skills, social skills, and community access

Requirements

- Legal right to live and work in Australia
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (VIC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
- International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Qualifications including Cert III or IV in Community Services or equivalent are well regarded and attract a higher pay grade
