Core Yard Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Core Yard Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe extraction and growth of our mineral resources.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on quality control, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will also possess a current unrestricted WA Class 'C' Driver's License and national police clearance.

About the Role
  • Perform core yard duties to facilitate safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction and growth of the mineral resource.
  • Process diamond drill core through the site's core yard, ensuring minimal backlog.
  • Conduct grab sampling from surface and underground stockpiles.
  • Prepare sites for geological mapping by washing down, paint markups, and measurement markups.
  • Work closely with Mine Geologists and conduct quality control on face sample collection, documentation, and delivery of samples to labs.
  • Undertake daily workplace inspections.
  • Data entry into software with attention to quality control.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current unrestricted WA Class 'C' Driver's License.
  • National police clearance, completed within 12 months prior to commencement.
