About Our Metal Fabrication Team

We are seeking a skilled and experienced metal fabricator to join our team in Western Australia. As an integral part of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom metal structures and components for public spaces.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and fabrication trade, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. You will be skilled in the use of hand and power tools, and possess excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical drawings to fabricate custom architectural metalwork.
  • Select, measure, and cut metal components for structures such as fencing, seating, and balustrades.
  • Shape and bend metal using press brakes and rollers to match project specifications.
  • Assemble and align components with precision using clamps, jigs, and measuring tools.
  • Weld joints as part of fabrication, ensuring strength and structural integrity.
  • Grind, polish, and finish metal surfaces for high-quality public installations.
  • Conduct quality checks on dimensions and final assembly.
  • Maintain workshop equipment and collaborate with design and site teams.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent), plus at least 1 year of relevant full-time experience as a Metal Fabricator (or similar), or
  • At least 3 years of full-time relevant work experience in the absence of a formal qualification.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • The ability and willingness to install the bespoke metal works is desirable.
