This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist who is passionate about clinical education and mentoring.

We are seeking an individual with significant clinical nursing experience, preferably in aged care or acute care settings, to develop and deliver clinical education programs that support best-practice clinical care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and evidence-based practices, aligning education initiatives with organisational development needs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

This role involves travel between metro sites to deliver clinical training and occasional rural or remote travel may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate clinical education programs for nursing staff">
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and competency assessments">
  • Support professional development and capability-building programs">
  • Ensure compliance with aged care regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies">
  • Implement and manage education systems, audits, and reporting processes">
  • Assist with workforce development planning to support clinical excellence">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Significant clinical nursing experience, preferably in aged care or acute care settings">
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist">
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment">
  • Strong background in developing and delivering clinical education programs">
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and supporting nursing teams">
  • Sound knowledge of aged care funding models (AN-ACC, Mandatory National Quality Indicator Program, Aged Care Quality Standards, and SIRS)">
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based assessment">
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills">
