Position Highlights

This full-time, permanent role is scheduled to provide quality Catholic education, and a student centred curriculum aimed at maximising student outcomes.

We welcome applications from recent graduates. The successful applicant will be appointed to the position prior to the closing date.

About You

As a Mathematics Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will need to:

  • demonstrate proficiency in teaching Mathematics Years 7 to 12. Ability to teach 2Unit Advanced Mathematics or Extension 1/2 Mathematics is highly regarded
  • apply teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning styles
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • support our education initiatives and endorse innovation as outlined in our Strategic Plan
  • participate in mentoring and training alongside peers and build strong professional relationships.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education, with relevant study in Mathematics
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
