
Apheresis Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse to provide expert care in the Apheresis Unit at a world-class hospital.
The successful applicant will have current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and experience in apheresis, including cannulation and CVAD management skills.
They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a dynamic team environment.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient-centered, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
This role provides expert nursing care in all areas of Apheresis including therapeutic and cellular therapies and clinical trials.
About the Role:The Apheresis Unit sits within the Department of Haematology and operates Monday to Friday with a 24hr/day on call service.
