About the Role

We are looking for a talented Network Development Engineer to innovate on the telecom infrastructure that is fundamental to modern contact centers in the cloud. The right candidate will conceptualize, design, build, deploy, and maintain Amazon Connect's next generation telecom infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of SIP protocol, VoIP technologies, and telecom network operations. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with teammates and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Amazon Connect's telecom infrastructure
  • Collaborate with teams and partners to comprehend obstacles and assist in finding solutions
  • Work closely with automation teams to define tools that allow us to scale at higher volume

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in a telecom network design focused in SIP protocol, VoIP technologies, and telecom network operations
  • 4+ years of experience with open-source VoIP systems like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, SIPp, SER, etc.
