About the Role

The Apprentice and Trainee Admissions Officer is a key position within our institution, responsible for ensuring the smooth enrolment and onboarding of apprentices and trainees across various industries and course types.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing student applications and admissions, ensuring accurate and timely recording in our Student Management Systems
  • Providing expert advice to prospective apprentices and students on application processes and requirements
  • Initiating pre-enrolment eligibility assessments and following up as necessary
  • Acting as an Authorised Enrolment delegate to assess student applications
  • Quality checking student enrolment paperwork at pre and post-induction stages
  • Liaising with Education Operations Officers and Australian Apprenticeship Support networks to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Analysing and processing eligibility exemptions, fee waivers, and concession fees in accordance with contract notification guidelines
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to students and employers through various communication channels

We are seeking an individual with:

  • An appropriate certificate-level qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training in customer service and administration support
  • Knowledge of standards and guidelines regarding apprenticeships, traineeships, and work-placed student training
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining confidential customer files and associated correspondence
