Labourer Position

We are seeking an experienced labourer to join our team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will contribute to key civil projects across Victoria, assisting the project team with pit and pipe works, using hand tools and reinstating work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the project team with daily tasks;
  • Completing pit and pipe works as required;
  • Using hand tools for various labouring tasks;
  • Reinstating work areas to a safe condition.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a labouring or construction role;
  • Punctuality, reliability and a level of autonomy;
  • Fitness and ability to pass random drug and alcohol screening and pre-employment medical;
  • A good attitude towards safety onsite;
  • A current driver's licence and construction industry White Card.

Benefits:

This casual position offers a range of benefits including:

  • Time and a half rate after 8 hours;
  • Double time rates after 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday;
  • Additional Pay for higher duties as applicable.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work varied shifts including overtime, weekend availability and may be required to commute from Bendigo VIC. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced labourer to join our team and contribute to key civil projects across Victoria.
