Janitorial Assistant

Our business has an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and proactive janitorial assistant to join our team.

As a key member of our onsite janitorial crew, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene at a large retail centre. Your tasks will include providing various janitorial services, working independently and as part of a team, and adhering to safe working practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous commercial or retail janitorial experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
  • An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques
  • Janitorial machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) preferred
  • Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
  • Physical fitness to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
  • Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
  • Valid work rights in Australia
