We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students, particularly those with high or additional needs.
About the Job DescriptionThis permanent, part-time position involves working 33 hours per fortnight, with a focus on providing individualized support to students. You will be required to assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, as well as provide feedback and guidance to students on their progress.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with high or additional needs, and will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education. You should also be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members, and be comfortable using technology to support teaching and learning.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People and college or TAFE studies in health and/or education support. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable using technology to support teaching and learning.
