We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our team in North Ryde, Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in representing the scientific face of Johnson & Johnson, engaging with healthcare practitioners to translate the latest scientific and clinical evidence into clinical practice.

This is a field-based role requiring around 50% travel, where you will build strong relationships with Thought Leaders, Clinical investigators, and Healthcare Decision Makers. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of a revolution in Hematology, leveraging our market-leading portfolio with exciting new therapies in the pipeline designed to eliminate cancer.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working within this dynamic therapeutic area, coupled with exceptional engagement and communication skills. A good understanding of clinical research, data analysis, clinical landscape, publications, and commercial acumen from cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate externally and internally to identify actionable insights and help shape current and future treatment landscapes in Haematology.
  • Establish and maintain trusted, scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other HCPs.
  • Communicate clinical and scientific data at peer level, translating evidence to address clinical needs and drive patient outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement KOL Engagement plans.
  • Partner with investigators on submission and initial assessment of investigator-initiated study concepts.

Requirements:

  • Medical/Pharmacy/Life science qualifications.
  • Advanced degree (Medical Degree, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience as an MSL essential.
  • Oncology background with deep scientific and/or clinical knowledge strongly preferred.
