Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contaminated Land Specialist to join our Geosciences and Remediation Services team in Perth. As a Senior Contaminated Sites Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, budgeting, financial management, scheduling, quality reviews, and communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage contaminated sites projects for Tier 1 clients, building and maintaining strong relationships by understanding their needs and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare and review technical reports, and other project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- A relevant university degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, or environmental engineering, and a valid drivers license.
- Extensive experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, with a proven track record in project management and client engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of Australian and Western Australian technical guidance and regulations.
- Experience in the assessment of upstream oil and gas and mining sites in northern Western Australia.
- Willingness to occasionally work remotely in the field or complete site visits across Western Australia and potentially other locations in Australia.
