Manufacturing Operations Assistant

This role involves ensuring the seamless integration of glass components and aluminum kits, coordinating tasks with management, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a well-organized factory environment and upholding high standards in their work.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience or knowledge in the building or window industry, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper bonding of glass components through effective operations
  • Match aluminum kits from Western Australia with glass products for seamless integration
  • Collaborate with management to coordinate tasks and communicate updates efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled jobs and related information using up-to-date spreadsheets
  • Uphold high standards by maintaining a well-organized factory environment
  • Develop proficiency in handling simple services, such as replacing handles, locks, and damaged lap seals
  • Assist with site measures and provide support during oversized glass job installations
  • Work towards independent completion of window installations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience or knowledge in the building or window industry
  • Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
