About the Role

As a Forensic Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in handling various responsibilities related to insurance claims, fraud investigations, and court proceedings. Your expertise will be essential in conducting thorough forensic accounting for insurance claims, specialising in areas such as business interruption, product liability/recall, and stock losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance claims analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Undertake forensic accounting investigations to uncover fraudulent activities, contributing to the enhancement of internal controls.
  • Prepare detailed accounting evidence and expert reports for use in court proceedings.
  • Provide bespoke advice to clients on various matters, including business valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, and insurance events.
About You
  • 2-5 years of experience in forensic accounting gained in a mid-tier environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a team player.
  • Sound knowledge in Australian legislation and standards.
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion.
