Lead a senior employment lawyer to establish a specialist law division in a dynamic Perth practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced employment lawyer to take ownership of employment law matters, provide comprehensive advice to corporate and commercial clients, and build a client portfolio with complete autonomy.

  • Take full responsibility for employment law cases from start to finish.
  • Provide expert guidance on employment contracts, policies, and workplace agreements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and workplace agreements.
  • Manage workplace relations, enterprise bargaining, and industrial disputes.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Represent clients in tribunals, courts, and mediation proceedings.

Requirements

  • Admitted legal practitioner in WA with a minimum of 6 years' experience in employment law.
  • Strong understanding of Fair Work Act, WA Industrial Relations Act, and related legislation.
  • Experience with workplace investigations, tribunals, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Bonus points for enterprise bargaining and industrial relations experience, WHS and discrimination law knowledge, and mid-tier or boutique firm background.
