Perioperative Care Professionals Wanted

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our perioperative team at North West Private Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
  • Respond effectively and calmly to unexpected situations and emergencies.
  • Ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care.
  • Comply with workplace health, safety, and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities for PACU Nurses include:

  • Providing excellent care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.
  • Responding effectively and calmly to emergencies and changing patient needs.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensuring patient safety and quality care standards are consistently upheld.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, or a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or equivalent) for Anaesthetic Technicians.
  • Strong clinical skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work early/late shifts with on-call components.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Post-graduate perioperative qualifications highly regarded.
