Early Childhood Educator Position

Lyrebird Early Learning Centre seeks a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in the 3-year-old room. The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for working with children, a commitment to their development, and the skills to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child. As an educator, you will foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification;
  • Valid registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
  • Proven experience with EYLF and NQF frameworks and Child Safe Standards;
  • Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven experience in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
