Job Title

A construction and development specialist is required to lead the assessment and oversight of construction finance transactions from end to end.

This role involves reviewing QS reports, payment schedules, and development budgets in line with business banking frameworks.

The successful candidate will conduct technical due diligence on builder capability, contract terms, and construction risk.

  • Design and deliver training to enhance frontline skills in construction risk and QS report interpretation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert supporting frontline bankers with complex construction transactions.
  • Build strong relationships with QS firms, developers, and builders.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Technical expertise and risk management.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
  • Capability development and strategic insights.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in quantity surveying or a related field, with professional qualifications preferred (AIQS/RICS).

A minimum of 5 years' experience in QS or project management is required, with deep knowledge of construction contracts, valuation, and risk frameworks.
