At Talent Focus Education, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Manager to lead our childcare center. Our organization is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0 weeks to 5 years old.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Centre Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being, development, and overall success of our childcare center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and in a director or leadership position within a childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare center, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and facility maintenance.
  • Curriculum Development: Implement and oversee a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages effective communication among staff, parents, and children.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to state and local licensing regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the center's budget, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, offering ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Parent Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve growth and quality improvement objectives.
Qualifications
  • Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's degree in early childhood or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a director or leadership role within a childcare center.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Profound knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in childcare, excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Licensing and Certification: Familiarity with local and state childcare regulations and licensing requirements, current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Pedagogical Approach: A strong passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
