Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the student learning and support team, providing clear direction, recruiting high-calibre staff, and ensuring staff development.
- Work closely with stakeholders, fostering collaboration to create a positive and effective team environment.
- Oversee and apply expertise in specialised support services for students, ensuring best practices and consistent implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) across the College.
- Coordinate and manage resources and staff to deliver effective support and extension programs for students.
- Ensure compliance with NCCD requirements, data collection, and audits while overseeing adjustments and provisions for students' needs.
- An inherent requirement of the role is that the incumbent have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be willing to support the vision of the institution.
- Knowledge of and a deep commitment to child safety in an education setting.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- NESA teacher registration and post-graduate qualifications in special education.
- Substantial experience in leading a team in specialised support services for students.
- Demonstrated experience in building processes and systems that support funding and compliance requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of NCCD regulations.
