Job Opportunity:

Postnatal Midwife Role

The hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to work in its public postnatal unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to mothers and their newborns, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing postnatal care to patients with normal and complex needs
  • Collaborating with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop effective care plans

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a midwife
  • Demonstrated high levels of communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a busy postnatal ward environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
