About the Role

The Royal Australian Navy is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager (Financial Reporting and Costing) to join its Training Force team. This is a key role that will play a critical part in ensuring the financial management and reporting of the Training Force's budget and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial expertise and guidance to the Business Resource team
  • Analyse financial data, prepare reports, and interpret financial reporting to support decision-making
  • Manage and report on the Cost Model and Forecasting Tool for Training Force
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient use of financial resources
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About Our Team

The Business and Resource Management Team is a centralised business management function within the Business Enterprise Management Directorate at Training Force Headquarters. The team is responsible for performing a range of business management functions and is based in geographically located around Australia.

  • A highly skilled and experienced Business Manager with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
