Secondary in Charge of School Care

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to fill the role of Secondary in Charge of our school care program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Service in delivering exceptional experiences for children in our care.

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
  • Support ensuring the program's compliance with industry regulations
  • Interact with parents and help them with enquiries whenever possible
  • Engage with the school community by attending events and assemblies when the Director is unable to attend
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude. If you are passionate about working with children and have a can-do approach, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday with specific hours including 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:15pm. You will also have access to admin hours within these times. The total weekly hours for this role are 30.75 hours per week.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be studying towards one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
