Job Description:

As a leader in the field of fibre architecture and planning, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, architecture, and design standards for our national fibre network. This role will oversee the end-to-end design and network planning of our fibre infrastructure, ensuring that it meets performance and customer experience metrics.

The ideal candidate will have extensive telecommunications network engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale network programs and managing multi-million-dollar budgets. They will also possess strong commercial and financial management skills, as well as sophisticated business partnering and influencing abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive innovation in the field of fibre architecture and planning.

Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, with a focus on fibre network architecture and end-to-end design
  • Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams, with a track record of delivering large-scale network programs and managing budgets
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including cost model development and total cost of ownership reduction
  • Sophisticated business partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to work with senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • In-depth understanding of emerging fibre and optical network technologies, with the ability to develop and implement technology roadmaps
