Laboratory Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our Environmental Division in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory results.

**About the Role:**

• Preparation and Analysis: Prepare and analyze soil, water, and sediment samples using various techniques such as weighing, digestion, titration, or solvent extraction.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all preparation and analytical procedures are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions.
• Task Management: Organize designated tasks to maximize daily efficiencies and complete tasks within the set timeframe.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

• A genuine interest in the Science industry and either TAFE or University qualifications.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Dedication to good laboratory practices with regard to quality of results and health and safety.
• Flexibility to work public holidays and weekend shifts if required.
